Yara Alkhush, BS, QMHPStudent ClinicianYara is a new student intern at NWAI. She is currently receiving her Master’s degree in Applied Clinical Psychology at Pacific University. Yara strives to create a warm and collaborative environment to help clients navigate their journeys toward change. She supports clients in implementing change in their lives with a compassionate and supportive approach. She has received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP).
Prior to entering the Master’s program at Pacific Univeristy, Yara received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Houston. After graduating, she has been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), where she works with children with Autism. Her experience in the field has fueled her drive to pursue a Master’s degree. Yara is eager to expand her knowledge of OCD and anxiety-related disorders and continue supporting clients. When Yara is not at work or school, she enjoys spending time with friends, trying new restaurants in the city, and watching thriller films.
