Shanna Kramer, LPC
Licensed Therapist / Associate Clinician
Shanna is a recent transplant to Portland, bringing with her a spirit of creativity, resiliency, and excitement. As a therapist, she strives to help others let go of their fear and self-doubt by giving them the tools and strength they need to live a more fulfilling life. She has extensive experience working with children, teens, and adults in both outpatient individual therapy as well as residential settings. She has worked in a variety of locations, including Detroit, MI, serving women and children experiencing financial hardship and Austin, TX, working with children surviving trauma in a residential treatment program.
Shanna graduated from Oakland Community College with a Liberal Arts Degree in Fine Art Photography before transferring to Central Michigan University where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology with a minor in Child Development. From there, she continued her education at Central Michigan, earning a Master of Arts Degree in Professional Counseling. In addition to her education, Shanna is trained in providing trauma-informed therapy, with experience leading individual and group therapy using TBRI and TF-CBT.
Shanna is still very much into photography and loves to travel with her roaming gnome companion, taking photos, and documenting their adventures in her journal. She and her husband love hiking, running, and chilling with their two cats, Pixel and Vector.
