Mitchell Passadore, BS, QMHPStudent ClinicianMitchell is a third-year Master’s student attending Lewis & Clark’s Professional Mental Health Counseling Program with a Specialization in Addiction. Mitchell specializes in addiction counseling, youth group facilitation, and treatment for anxiety-related disorders. Mitchell is ASIST-certified and has experience with trauma counseling and crisis intervention. He believes that the hard things are often worth doing and wants to create a safe and supportive environment for people to venture beyond their comfort zone.
Mitchell has a Bachelor’s of Science from University of Oregon’s department of Psychology and studied internationally, specializing in evolutionary psychology, social entrepreneurship, and participating in field work in Europe, Africa, South and Central America. Before coming to NWAI, Mitchell worked at the Developmental Brain Imaging Lab at Oregon Health and Science University, researching risk factors for addiction and alcohol’s effect on cognitive development. In his free time, Mitchell enjoys tending to his many houseplants, going on hikes with his golden retriever, Wesley, and rooting on the Trail Blazers. Lewis & Clark
