Student ClinicianLouise recently joined NWAI as a student clinician while completing her Master’s in Applied Clinical Psychology at Pacific University. Originally from Ireland, she earned a Bachelor of Science from University College Cork before pursuing a career in mental health. Through her graduate training, she has gained experience in evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
Louise believes one of the most important parts of therapy is creating a space where people feel comfortable being themselves. She brings warmth, authenticity, and a sense of humor to her work, believing that meaningful conversations and laughter can go hand in hand. Her approach combines evidence-based practices with genuine compassion, supporting clients as they work toward meaningful change. Outside of work and school, Louise enjoys spending time outdoors, staying connected with family and friends, and trying her hand at gardening—with mixed results. Pacific University
