Student ClinicianKate attended the University of Nevada, Reno, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree, and went on to complete her Master’s in Professional Mental Health Counseling at Lewis & Clark College. She has worked in a residential eating disorder recovery center, completed her clinical practicum at Lewis & Clark, and has experience supporting people of all ages.
Kate is a new student intern at NWAI and brings training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) interventions as well as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). She values building authentic connections, supporting individuals in challenging themselves and discovering their strengths, and helping people reconnect with their true values so that life feels easier, more meaningful, and more livable. At NWAI, Kate hopes to contribute humor, warmth, and curiosity, helping to create an environment where clients feel supported, encouraged, and empowered to grow. Outside of work, Kate loves exploring new restaurants in Portland, surfing when she can, and spending cozy time with her two cats, Chicken and Dave. Pacific University
