Jennifer GarciaStudent ClinicianJennifer recently joined the NWAI team as a student clinician. At NWAI, Jennifer strives to provide an environment that promotes growth, resiliency, and well-being. She has received training in intervention styles rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), and also has previous experience with Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Her therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and occasionally, humorous.
Jennifer received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Arizona State University. She is currently pursuing her PsyD at Pacific University and has received a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology at Pacific. Jennifer has experience working within the realms of community mental health, private practice, intensive outpatient programs, and partial hospitalization programs. Along her academic and clinical journey, Jennifer developed a strong passion for working with anxiety and related disorders. Jennifer seeks to meet clients where they are at so that they can take steps to where they would like to go. When Jennifer is not at work or school, she can be found playing video games with friends, cycling, listening to podcasts, and spending time with her two dogs. Pacific University
