Jeffrey is a new intern at NWAI. He is skilled in providing a safe environment built on collaboration and genuineness for individuals seeking growth. Jeffrey has received training in intervention styles rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP). His kind and interactive therapeutic style helps establish an environment that cultivates growth and change.
Jeffrey received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham before completing his Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology at George Fox University. He is currently a fourth-year doctoral candidate for Clinical Psychology at George Fox University. Jeffrey decided to pursue his doctorate to gain knowledge and understanding to best understand and challenge common stigmas associated with mental health. His previous work in university counseling expanded is ability to establish and enhance his clinical identity and interest. Jeffrey seeks to further enhance his understanding of evidence-based interventions to support his clinical work.
When Jeffrey is not at work or school, he can be found cycling, reading, playing games with friends, watching movies, and reading books.
