Student ClinicianDavis is a student clinician at NWAI who values creating a warm therapeutic environment that can provide support through difficult periods. She has received training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Davis believes in the necessity of the therapeutic alliance and the importance of turning challenges into opportunities to grow.
She is currently in her third year of doctoral training in George Fox University's clinical psychology program and earned her bachelor's degree at the University of Washington. Davis has previously worked in an inpatient psychiatric hospital with clients struggling with severe and persistent mental illness, substance use issues, and severe depression. Through this, Davis has developed a high capacity to sit with clients in extreme distress, process intense traumas, and comfort in difficult moments, all while providing compassion and levity. Beyond the therapeutic space, Davis has experiences working with unhoused individuals and children through shelter work. Outside the therapy room, Davis enjoys kayaking, watching films, and baking with her partner. George Fox
