Student ClinicianLanguages Spoken: SpanishAzul recently joined the NWAI team as a student clinician. She is in her second and final year at Pacific University where she will receive her Master’s in Applied Clinical Psychology. Azulhas received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP). She works to cultivate a collaborative, safe, and warm environment to encourage growth and resilience within her clients.
Prior to beginning her graduate studies, Azul received her bachelor's in psychology with a minor in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and is excited to call Oregon her new home. She has experience working one on one with clients as a cognitive educational therapy tutor, where she developed her therapeutic skills of providing personalized support, individually tailored interventions, and creating a supportive environment. Azul’s goal is for her clients to feel empowered throughout therapy. When Azul is not at work or school, she can be found at markets, crafting, or laying around with her dog Flor. Pacific University
