Alyson Reaves, BS, QMHPStudent ClinicianAly joined NWAI as a student clinician and is pursuing her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology at Pacific University. She helps clients address their mental health concerns and achieve their goals through a collaborative, supportive approach and evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) interventions. She is particularly passionate about treating anxiety and related disorders with Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), a specialized treatment approach. She strives to create a warm, inclusive, and genuine environment where clients can come as they are and become who they want to be. She works alongside clients to define their goals for therapy and develop actionable and measurable plans to achieve them.
Previously, Aly worked as a business professional for 13 years after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Virginia. Her transition to the mental health field was motivated by her passion and desire to support others to improve their quality of life and functional abilities and live in greater alignment with their values. Her unique career journey provides added perspective on the demands and challenges of navigating the corporate world and significant career changes. When Aly is not at work or school, she enjoys exploring new restaurants and coffee shops, listening to music and podcasts, and being active outdoors with her family and pup Maxwell.
