Adrien Mattieux, BA, QMHPStudent ClinicianAdrien is a student clinician working at NWAI. He is currently finishing his final year in Pacific University Applied Clinical Psychology program. He built his clinical foundation in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), where he practiced client-first therapy for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down’s Syndrome, and Social Anxiety Disorder. Adrien aims to foster a safe, inclusive environment that allows clients to feel heard and supported towards their goals.
Prior to his work as a graduate student, Adrien received his BA in Psychology at Reed College. He spent several years working as a behavior technician and participating in research labs geared towards childhood development and familial relationships. At Pacific University, he is motivated by a deep-rooted desire to ensure quality of care for all clients. When not working, Adrien enjoys swimming, hiking, and exploring Portland’s food scene.
