buried in treasures facilitator's training
The Multnomah County Hoarding Task Force presents the nationally recognized workshop, Buried in Treasures, led by Dr. Randy O. Frost. This training provides the structure, insights, and organizational tools needed to run a successful self-help and empowering group for people who identify with accumulating and saving more 'stuff' than they have room for.
Dr. Randy O. Frost, the Harold and Elsa Siipola Israel Professor of Psychology at Smith College, is an internationally recognized expert on obsessive compulsive disorder and hoarding disorder. He has coauthored several books on hoarding, including Buried in Treasures: Help for Compulsive Acquiring, Saving, and Hoarding (with Drs. David Tolin and Gail Steketee and published by Oxford University Press). This book is the backbone of the Buried in Treasures Workshops that have been found to produce significant improvements in hoarding behaviors and are now running in many locations around the world.
